Vladimir Putin’s election fund spent 317.75 million rubles on the presidential campaign, as follows from the final financial report published on the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation (.pdf). The largest amount of money was spent on election campaigning on radio and television – 163.2 million rubles.

According to the report as of March 18, Vladimir Putin’s election fund received more than 477.38 million rubles in total. 128.38 million rubles were returned from the election fund. 317,752,465 rubles were spent on the presidential campaign, including:

  • for organizing the collection of voter signatures – 11.86 million rubles;
  • for election campaigning through television and radio broadcasting organizations – 163.2 million rubles;
  • for election campaigning through the editorial offices of periodicals – 1.92 million rubles;
  • for the production and distribution of printed, audiovisual and other propaganda materials – more than 82.78 million rubles.
  • for holding public mass events – 28.22 million rubles.

Presidential elections in Russia took place on March 15–17. On March 18, the CEC reported that 100% of the protocols had been processed. Vladimir Putin (self-nominated) received 87.28% of the votes, Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) – 4.31%, Vladislav Davankov (New People) – 3.85%, Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) – 3.2%. Turnout in all regions was 77.44%. Fifth presidential term of Vladimir Putin will begin May 7, 2024.
