Putin’s assistant Ushakov stated that China understands the true causes of the Ukrainian conflict

Moscow is grateful to Beijing for its attitude towards Russia’s actions in Ukraine. “We highly appreciate Beijing’s balanced position on the Ukrainian crisis,” Putin aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters on the eve of the Russian president’s visit to the Middle Kingdom, noting that China understands the true causes of this conflict.
He also said that the Chinese leadership is “sincerely” trying to find some way to resolve the conflict.
Ushakov said that Moscow and Beijing continue to take close or coinciding positions on key world issues and are actively coordinating their actions at the SCO, Brix, G20 and APEC platforms.
