Putin wished the Tyumen governor Moor success on the eve of the elections

Russian President Vladimir Putin positively assessed the work of Alexander Moor as governor of the Tyumen region. Mr. Moore asked the head of state to evaluate his work on the eve of the gubernatorial elections to be held in the region in September.
“The rating is quite satisfactory, good. Much is obtained. We see it in the main indicators. Hope people appreciate it. Of course, we need to go to people: no matter what happens, we still need to identify those problem areas that still need to be worked on – they always exist. You are doing well in general. I want to wish you success,” the president said to Mr. Moor at the end of their meeting (quote – press office Kremlin).
The head of the region expressed confidence that in September the residents of the Tyumen region will vote for the candidate they want to see in the governor’s position.
Vladimir Putin appointed Alexander Moor Acting Governor of the Tyumen Region on May 29, 2018 (Moor replaced Vladimir Yakushev as head of the region). At the time of his appointment, Mr. Moor was the City Manager of Tyumen. He has been working in senior positions in the city administration since 2005, before that he was the head of Diplomat, Bely Sever, Khanty-Mansiysk Bank banks. In September 2018 Alexander Moor won gubernatorial elections, gaining 65.8% of the vote.
