Russian President Vladimir Putin today, June 28, will hold a meeting in Dagestan on the development of the tourism industry in the country, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
As the Kremlin spokesman said during the conference call, on the afternoon of June 28, Vladimir Putin will “work in Makhachkala.”
“The President will deal with the development of tourism, including in the North Caucasus Federal District. He will hold a meeting,” Dmitry Peskov explained. According to him, we are talking about the planned trip of the president, “Vladimir Putin’s entire schedule is going according to plan.”
As Mr. Peskov stressed, the meeting with the participation of the head of state will be attended by the heads of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Transport of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov and Vitaly Savelyev, and the head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov will also make a report at the event. In addition to the meeting on the development of the tourism industry, Vladimir Putin is expected to hold a personal meeting with the head of the republic during his trip to Dagestan.
