Today, January 29, the Central Election Commission registered Vladimir Putin as a candidate in the elections, he will take part in them as a self-nominated candidate. The co-chairman of his election headquarters, actor Vladimir Mashkov, received the candidate certificate instead. He plans to personally hand over the certificate to Mr. Putin.
The Russian presidential elections will take place from March 15 to 17. The Central Election Commission also allowed Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation), Vladislav Davankov (New People) to participate in them.
