Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his address on the occasion of the Day of Security Agencies, called for a more attentive attitude to the West’s attempts to destabilize the situation in Russia.
The head of state called the West’s attempts to influence “the sovereign right of the Russian people to determine their future” unacceptable.
“It is necessary to firmly suppress attempts by foreign intelligence services to destabilize the socio-political situation in Russia, undermine civil peace and interethnic harmony, interfere in our internal affairs, and violate the sovereign inviolable right of the people of Russia to determine their own future,” Putin said.
