Representatives of the Russian authorities at various levels should treat the families of the soldiers who died during the special operation as if they were their own families and children. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the ceremony of presenting state awards in the Kremlin.
“I want all my colleagues throughout the country to hear me from this solemn hall of the Kremlin, to be heard at different levels of government: these are our families, and their children are our children. And this is how it should be treated,” the head of state emphasized (quote according to TASS).
According to him, attention should be paid to the families of the dead fighters “at the call of the heart”, and “not because someone has prescribed it somewhere.”
On August 2, the ceremony of presenting state awards to military personnel and outstanding figures in the field of education, science, culture, medicine, industry, etc. took place in the Catherine’s Hall of the Kremlin.
In particular, Putin posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia to the commander of the assault group, Captain Roman Vorobyov, and the commander of the motorized rifle brigade, Colonel Denis Ivanov. The head of state handed over their awards to the widows of servicemen Albina Vorobyeva and Angelina Ivanova, transmits TASS. During the presentation, Putin shook hands with both women and spoke briefly with each of them.

Denis Ivanov (call sign “Tashkent”), as informs TASS, died on July 17. He participated in the battles for Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and defended the borders of the LPR.
