Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about his lifestyle during a meeting with families awarded the Order of Parental Glory.

“Of course, like all people, I sleep. <...> I sleep a little, probably – six or seven hours. Six mostly sleep. Slept much less today. It happened”, – said head of state answering a question about his daily routine.

Putin also noted that he is trying not to abandon sports. According to him, exercise helps in work.

June 1 International Children’s Day Putin holds meeting by video link with families awarded the Order of Parental Glory. During the conversation, families with many children from different regions of Russia are received.

The Order of Parental Glory is awarded to parents and adoptive parents who are raising seven or more children, and also provide an appropriate level of care for their health, education, physical, spiritual and moral development. The state award was established in 2008 by decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

Since June 2022, when awarding an order, a family also receives a lump sum payment of 500,000 rubles, and when awarding a medal of the order, 200,000 rubles.
