Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there is no need for martial law in Russia. He stated this at a meeting with war correspondents.
“In general, there is no need to introduce martial law in the country, we need to work on some issues more carefully,” Putin said (quoted from “RIA News”).
In addition, the President commented on the rumors about the general mobilization. According to him, there is no such need today.
Since October 20, 2022, the martial law regime has been in force in four regions of the Russian Federation: the DPR, the LPR, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The President also decided to introduce in eight border regions of Russia, including Crimea, Sevastopol, Belgorod and Kursk regions, a “medium level of response.”
