Putin: The West tried to bring down the Russian state system and sow internal unrest

Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the United Russia party congress that the elites of the West unleashed real aggression against Russia, which was increasing from year to year.

According to Putin, the goal was to bring down the Russian economy, the social sphere and the political state system in order to sow internal unrest.

The Russian leader noted that methods of such destabilization were tested by the West in different countries during the so-called color coups.

But such recipes, Putin emphasized, have not worked in Russia and will not work.
