Russian President Vladimir Putin complained that the lack of highly qualified specialists at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex affects the timing of the implementation of the state defense order (GOZ). The head of state said this at a meeting with workers of an aviation plant in Ulan-Ude.
“Hinders, yes. But, you know, if nothing interferes, then you need to go to bed: everything is fine, you can grunt right away. And when something gets in the way, you have to overcome something, you have to work on yourself, on solving these problems,” Mr. Putin said.
To expand the personnel potential, the president is sure, it is necessary to carry out systematic work to increase the level of wages and solve housing issues. “Now many enterprises work practically in three shifts, and there are not enough specialists, especially highly qualified specialists,” the president said.
Also Vladimir Putin informedthat the Ministry of Industry and Trade handed over to the Ministry of Defense a list of priority professions, whose representatives can receive a deferment from military service.
In November 2022, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu informedthat the state defense order in 2023 will be increased by 1.5 times. According to the minister, this will provide the troops with weapons and equipment by 97%. And already in March of this year, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which, in the event of a declaration of martial law in companies that violate the terms of the state defense order, external management will be introduced.
