Putin: SVO soldiers should form the basis of the state

This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with students who participated in the special operation.
The Russian leader promised to “set up the entire state mechanism so that people like you get a chance to prove themselves in civilian life.”
Previously, Vladimir Putin instructed to make changes before April 1 in the order of payments to the military and assigning the status of special operation veterans. In particular, provisions will be adjusted that provide for the assignment of combat veteran status to SVO participants without a contract. In the regions, when assigning payments to the families of the deceased, it is prescribed to take into account those registered in another subject of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the head of state called for involvement into the system of municipal government of fighters of the Northern Military District, if they have a desire to show their best qualities in the field of civil service.
