Putin submitted treaties on new territories for ratification to the State Duma

President Vladimir Putin submitted treaties on entry to the State Duma for ratification Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics Kherson and Zaporozhye regions in Russia. Their consideration will take place on Monday, October 3rd.
The agreements deal with the admission of these regions to Russia and the formation of new subjects within the Russian Federation. The submitted documents are accompanied by the full texts of the treaties with the new territories.
Treaties on the inclusion of new territories in Russia were signed September 30th. The ceremony took place after completion in four regions of five-day referendums on the issue of joining the Russian Federation.
Earlier today, October 2, the Constitutional Court acknowledged the constitutionality of treaties on new territories that have not entered into force.
