According to the law, the fine for placing advertising on one’s resources at the request of foreign agents will be up to 50 thousand rubles for citizens, and up to 500 thousand rubles for legal entities. In the event of a violation after being held administratively liable twice, a criminal penalty is faced—up to two years in prison. Fines for advertising companies and media will amount to up to 300 thousand rubles.
The draft law will be submitted to the State Duma on February 15 contributed a group of 395 deputies led by the speaker of the lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin.
