Putin signed a decree to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theater Workers

A century and a half (150 years) since the first professional association of theater workers was created, then called the “Society for Mutual Assistance of Russian Artists,” will only be celebrated in 2026, but Vladimir Putin has already signed a Decree on celebrating this important date. The document contains three paragraphs with two subparagraphs, according to which an organizing committee for celebrating the anniversary must be created within a month. The name of the chairman of the committee is already known – he has appointed Sergei Kiriyenko and, after the approval of the composition of the Committee, he and his comrades will have to develop a plan for the anniversary events.
