Air defense systems destroyed six UAVs”? The Western press is frightening that this is a probing of the air defense system, and Ukraine is preparing a massive UAV attack on our capital. In principle, this is expected – the Kyiv regime should be presented with at least some “victories” to its sponsors. At least just PR victories. Because the military sense in these raids is about zero. Psychological pressure on the Russians will not work either. I didn’t just ask if you remember these raids. Well, do you remember? Here’s something. You can scare the “Russians” only by hitting somewhere beyond the Upper Lars – all the frightened live there. But the main thing in all this is the speed and truthfulness in the presentation of information from the authorities to the people. Yes, it still cannot do without jambs, but compared to the situation a year ago, progress is evident. Practice has confirmed that telling the people the truth is not scary and very useful. You can trust the people.

In this sense, the surprise of Dmitry Sergeevich Peskov is very indicative, who said this week that Russia “has come out of the crisis, and we have prospects for starting a fairly rapid development,” and most importantly, it remains to be studied “how it happened and where such forces came from our country, our people.” A miracle must have happened. Well, what – faith has strengthened.

The World Bank published statistics for 2022 this week and reported that Russia had taken 5th place among the world’s economies in purchasing power parity, overtaking Germany. Now we have the strongest indicator in Europe. Dmitry Medvedev wrote that this happened “despite the insane sanctions and the hybrid war declared against us.” But in fact, one can look at it differently: not in spite of the sanctions, but thanks to them.

Here is one of the simple examples. Vladimir Putin said the other day: “Ministries, departments, departments of affairs asked to continue the purchase: to focus on foreign-made cars, to continue this practice. I said that this should be absolutely excluded, and all officials of the country should drive domestic cars.” He himself believes the people, he believes that we can do everything ourselves, and he wants to force the officials. But it’s not so easy, you won’t be forced to be nice … It’s a shock. That is why stuffing immediately began through the state-controlled media, citing a “source familiar with the situation”: they say that the Russian auto industry does not yet have sufficient capacity to make a large purchase of cars for Russian officials. But the industry that produces cars, reacted in the opposite way. And one, the most famous auto giant, said that “it has the necessary engineering potential and production capacity to ensure the supply of cars within the framework of the state order for the apparatus of officials in the required volumes,” and another, recently revived, said that it “is able to meet the demand for cars for the needs public sector”. So the sanctions prevent the development of the automotive industry, or are our bureaucrats who prefer to provide orders to foreign companies? By the way, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin set a good example by saying that he agreed with the leaders of the factions of the lower house of parliament that from September the deputies would use Moskvich, Lada and Aurus cars. Moreover, the production of Volga cars will soon begin, which will also be useful for transporting parliamentarians. Now imagine how everything will rush forward if officials and deputies are attached to district clinics, they will have to live in mass buildings, and their children will study in ordinary Russian schools and universities. The list of wishes, by the way, can be continued.

But in addition to purely economic benefits, such steps could strengthen the faith of the people in power. Believing in power and believing in power are two different things…
