Putin sent Mishustin to regions where forests are burning

Russian President Vladimir Putin asked Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to visit regions with a difficult situation with fires.
“Yesterday, among other issues, we discussed issues related to the fight against fires with the prime minister. And I asked him to visit these territories too,” Putin said at a meeting on fighting fires.
During the meeting, Putin also noted that the fight against forest fires throughout the European continent is difficult, and large-scale resources must be attracted.
According to the Federal Forestry Agency, 104 forest fires in 18 regions are currently being extinguished in Russia, the total area of fires is 107 thousand hectares. The most difficult situation is in the Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov regions, in the republics of Komi, Mari El and Yakutia.
