“At the same time, there is talk about some kind of new world order, the essence of which is actually the same: hypocrisy, double standards, claims to exclusivity, to global dominance, to the preservation of an essentially neocolonial system,” the president said. He noted that the West is “using” Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and Russophobia “to restrain the development of independent, sovereign countries” and “split the world majority.”

On October 20, during a campaign event, American President Joe Biden expressed the view that the United States has the opportunity to “unite the world in a way that has never been done before.” He noted that the United States can create a “new world order” if they “are bold enough and self-confident.” He did not reveal what exactly the “new world order” would consist of.

At a meeting with representatives of faiths in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin also thanked those present for their support of the Russian army and family members of soldiers participating in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
