Putin said that the first nuclear warheads were delivered to Belarus

The first Russian nuclear warheads have been delivered to the territory of Belarus. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the SPIEF plenary meeting.
“It happened. The first nuclear charges were delivered to the territory of Belarus. But only the first. This is the first part. By the end of the summer, by the end of the year, we will complete this work in its entirety,” the president said.
The Russian leader stressed that this is an element of deterrence, so that “everyone who thinks about inflicting a strategic defeat on us should not forget about this circumstance.” He reiterated that the use of extreme remedies, i.e. nuclear weapons is allowed only under conditions of a threat to Russian statehood.
On May 25, 2023, the Ministers of Defense of Russia and Belarus, Sergei Shoigu and Viktor Khrenin, signed documents defining the procedure for keeping Russian nuclear weapons in a special storage facility on the territory of the republic. Shoigu cited the activity of NATO’s joint nuclear missions as the reasons for this decision, including the training of pilots of non-nuclear countries of the alliance in the use of American nuclear bombs stored in Europe.
On June 9, Putin said that the deployment of Russian non-strategic nuclear weapons in Belarus would begin after July 7–8, when the preparation of the corresponding facilities was completed.
Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that not all Russian nuclear weapons have been delivered to Belarus yet, as soon as the process is over, the weapons will be dispersed.
