Putin said that it is impossible to drive on some roads in new regions of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin to correct the situation with the passage of vehicles through the Gukovo checkpoint on the administrative border of the LPR (Lugansk People’s Republic) and the Rostov Region. According to him, he became convinced of the deplorable situation at the Gukovo checkpoint during his recent trip to new regions of the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Putin also instructed Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin to resolve all problems related to the situation at the checkpoint “together with the road workers” as soon as possible. Mr. Khusnullin in response reported that “we have given all the instructions, we will work everything out.” “In fact, we increased the throughput capacity of checkpoints, some of them, with the border service six to eight times, but this is still not enough, there is a giant flow. Therefore, we will definitely do this work – we are also launching new points and new roads, ”the Deputy Prime Minister assured.
