Putin: Russia is doing everything to help hostages in the Middle East
On February 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with the Chief Rabbi of Russia Lazar and the head of the Federation of Jewish Communities, Boroda.
During the discussion, the head of state stated the need to continue efforts to restore peace in the Middle East, as well as to provide assistance to hostages amid the escalation of the conflict in this region.
“Russia is doing everything to help people who are held hostage. It is known that our Foreign Ministry works through the political wing of Hamas,” Putin said, adding that there are already certain results from these efforts.
