Putin: Russia is capable of implementing the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed railway project

Putin spoke about the importance of two projects: the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed railway and the nuclear power plant in the Leningrad region

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that plans for the construction of a high-speed railway “Moscow – St. Petersburg” and a nuclear power plant in the Leningrad region will be carried out at the highest level.

According to the head of state, today two important projects for the country will start at once – the implementation of the seventh power unit of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant and the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed railway. Putin noted that serious work is expected on each project.

The Russian President wished success to everyone who will take part in the implementation of the two projects. He also expressed hope that all plans will be implemented at a high level.

Putin emphasized that these two projects are important for the country’s economy and industry, as well as for increasing infrastructural, technological and energy potential.
