Vladimir Putin: Russia is not going to fight with NATO
Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with military pilots in Torzhok, said that Russia has no plans to start an armed conflict with NATO.
The head of state called such statements by Western politicians “nonsense.” He recalled that the United States spent more than $810 billion on military spending in 2022 alone, while similar spending by Russia amounted to only $72 billion.
“Given this ratio, are we going to fight with NATO or something? Well, this is just nonsense,” Putin said.
