Russian President Vladimir Putin said that 617 thousand people are now in the combat zone. The length of the front line is 2 thousand km.
He added that because of this, “not everything is delivered on time” on the front line and in some cases there may be disruptions in deliveries to the front line. At the same time, according to him, domestic production and the number of purchases from other countries are growing.
Earlier, during the “Results of the Year”, Vladimir Putin said that now 244 thousand mobilized people are located directly in the Northern Military District zone. 41 thousand mobilized have already been dismissed from the Armed Forces for health reasons or reaching the age limit, he specified. According to him words, as part of the volunteer recruitment campaign, 486 thousand people were recruited over the year. A new wave of mobilization is not needed now, the president believes.
