The President promised that problems with payments and the status of SVO participants who fought as part of the Wagner PMC and other PMCs will be resolved.

The President was told that such fighters are often not given the status of combatants. Vladimir Putin called the situation with PMCs a gap made by the Ministry of Defense. He noted that formally there are no PMCs in Russia, and their participants have not signed contracts with the state. This situation, according to the president, must be resolved: people who served in PMCs must have the same support from the state as other participants in the hostilities.

The head of state also said that among his close acquaintances there are people who served in PMCs, and among them there are dead.

The news is being updated.
