Putin postponed the implementation of the state system of legal statistics to 2027

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed law on postponing the start of operation of the state system of legal statistics from 2024 to 2027.
According to a document published on the legal information portal, the new start date for the system is January 1, 2027.
The law, which provides for the creation of a system of unified statistical recording of data on the state of crime, as well as on reports of crimes, investigative work, inquiries, prosecutorial supervision, was approved by the State Duma and the Federation Council in 2019, after which it was signed by the then President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
After this, the launch date for the system had to be postponed. So, at the end of December last year, the State Duma adopted a law establishing the start date of the system for January 1, 2024. Before this, it was planned to launch on January 1, 2023.
