Russian President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya. During the conversation, Mr. Rudenya promised the head of state that the region would be fully gasified by 2026.
“Until 2026, we will have gasified all municipalities, 100% in the region: gas will be provided in every district, in every regional center,” the head of the region said (quote from site Kremlin).
At the moment, according to data regional authorities, the level of gasification of the Tver region is 68%, by the end of 2024 it should grow to at least 73%.
In addition, Igor Rudenya reported to Putin on the socio-economic development of the region, and spoke about the construction of important facilities. The head of the region announced the completion of the transfer of regional payments to mobilized citizens. “We have completed all payments for those mobilized from the region. The volume here we have amounted to more than 615 million rubles,” said the Tver governor.
During a conversation with the president, the governor specified that the completion of work on the construction of the northern bypass of Tver is scheduled for 2024. The topic of medical support in the region was also touched upon. The head of the region noted that this year four children’s polyclinics will start operating in the region, a new hospital building will be commissioned, and work is underway to build a large regional hospital in Bezhetsk.
