Putin met with the Governor of the Novgorod Region

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrey Nikitin. About it reported in the Kremlin.

During the conversation, the head of state drew Nikitin’s attention to the high road death rate and water quality. According to the governor, high mortality is associated with federal roads, since the M-10 highway passes through the region, but “colleagues have a big program, we will help them here in every possible way.”

The Novgorod governor also reported that the region plans to supply gas to the same number of settlements in five years as in the previous 50 years, since the level of gas supply is only 55%. “For Central Russia, this is, of course, very little. I want to thank Alexei Borisovich Miller here: we signed the program last year at the St. Petersburg Forum, I call it “In five years, as in fifty,” Nikitin said.

In the Novgorod region, the unemployment rate is 3.1%. “It turns out that there is a shortage of workers,” Putin said. Nikitin also said that this year the region managed to completely solve the problem of deceived equity holders, all the victims received housing.

During the meeting, the President touched upon the issue of high mortality from cardiovascular diseases. To which Nikitin added that the region managed to find an additional 1.5 billion rubles, for which they bought angiographs and MRI machines.

Nikitin sees three tasks for a special operation as part of his activities: to organize a peaceful life in the Vasilyevsky district of the Zaporozhye region, which is located “on the line of contact”, material support for fighters, as well as veterans and their families. Nikitin added that in the region they decided to allocate a separate large building for the work of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
