Vladimir Putin held a meeting with candidates participating in the presidential elections. He received Nikolai Kharitonov (KPRF), Vladislav Davankov (New People) and Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) in the Kremlin and asked them to tell what people told them during the election campaign.
Addressing the ex-candidates, Vladimir Putin emphasized that they had common goals, and the election campaign was conducted in a civilized manner and in accordance with Russian laws. According to him, it is now necessary to continue “active joint work in the country’s parliament, which will allow us to solve the problems facing the country.” Among them, Vladimir Putin noted issues of security and sovereignty in the technological and financial spheres.
“Let me congratulate you. We recognize the victory,” Nikolai Kharitonov was the first to address the head of state. Mr. Kharitonov invited the president to discuss a number of problems that voters told him about during the presidential campaign. In particular, he intends to discuss with Vladimir Putin the “housing issue” and the equalization of wages in the social sphere.
