Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree changing the operating procedure of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP). The text of the document was posted on website official publication of legal acts. It excludes from the powers of FSSP employees work with legal entities.
The presidential decree excludes from the regulations on the work of the FSSP the obligation for the main type of activity – maintaining a register of legal entities paying debts. Also, the department’s responsibilities no longer include exercising government supervision over the activities of such legal entities.
The decree also entrusts FSSP employees with guarding the premises of enforcement agencies and clarifies the requirements for anti-corruption work within the department. The decree came into force on the day it was signed – January 22.
Previously FSSP reportedthat the number of loan defaulters in Russia exceeded 21.1 million people in January-September 2023, which is 22% more than in the same period last year.
About what the average defaulter looks like – in the publication “Kommersant” “Without a sense of duty”.
