Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the flag-raising ceremony on the frigate Admiral Golovko, the small missile ship Naro-Fominsk and the sea minesweeper Lev Chernavin, reported press service Kremlin. The raising of the flag marks the inclusion of the ships in the Russian Navy.

According to the president, there are now 5 frigates, 8 corvettes, 13 small missile ships and more than 50 other ships of various classes at the embankments of Russian shipyards in various stages of readiness.
The 1st rank frigate Admiral Golovko is equipped with long-range sea and ocean zone guided missiles, including Caliber missiles. The vessel was laid down on February 1, 2012. The construction was carried out by Severnaya Verf.
The ship “Naro-Fominsk” was built within the framework of project 21631 at the Zelenodolsk plant named after. A. M. Gorky. The ship is equipped with Kalibr and Oniks cruise missiles. Ships of this class have been under construction since 2010; according to Vladimir Putin, they launched strikes from the Caspian Sea against militant positions in Syria, and were also involved in military operations in Ukraine.
The minesweeper “Lev Chernavin” was built by the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard. The project was founded on July 24, 2020. Minesweepers are designed to search, detect and destroy sea mines.
