Russian President Vladimir Putin recommended exempting low-income large families in the Far East from paying property taxes on their only home until April 1. Governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region Rostislav Goldstein, Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev, Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Region Vladislav Kuznetsov, Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, Head of the Republic of Sakha Aisen Nikolaev, Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov, Governor Amur Region Vasily Orlov, Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander, as well as Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov and Head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov.
Vladimir Putin visited the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Khabarovsk Territory in early January. During a conversation with residents of Chukotka, the head of state discussed issues of repayment, the use of maternity capital and measures to support participants in the military operation. In the Khabarovsk Territory, the President met with entrepreneurs from the Far East and spoke about the development of the Russian economy.
