In Russia, since August of this year, a service has been launched for issuing electronic visas for citizens of 55 countries to enter the Russian Federation through border checkpoints. You must attach a photograph and a scan of your passport page to your application. The visa gives the right to a single entry into Russia on a guest or business visit, as a tourist, as well as to participate in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, and sporting events. In June, the Russian government expanded the list of border points where foreign citizens will be able to use a single electronic visa.
