Russian President Vladimir Putin and Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov at the meeting discussed the socio-economic indicators of the region, including the implementation of the Northern Latitudinal Railway (NLRT) project. About it reported on the Kremlin website.
According to Artyukhov, in the economic plan, 2022 turned out to be “contradictory” for the YNAO against the background of the geopolitical situation, but in general, “in terms of the main indicators, there are pluses everywhere.” At the same time, the head of the region drew attention to the growth of the resident population, provided at the same time with natural growth.
Speaking about the Northern latitudinal course, the governor called the 2.5 km long bridge across the Ob the most difficult object. A team is working on the project, “which was engaged in the Crimean bridge, which knows how to solve the most difficult challenges.”
The main problem in the region is the resettlement of dilapidated and dilapidated housing, Artyukhov added. The President responded by pointing out the large volume of such housing, as well as the need to “work” on the construction of new schools, since many children go to two more shifts.
SSH is a 707 km long highway in the north of Yamal, which should connect the Obskaya station of the Northern Railway with the Korotchaevo station of the Sverdlovsk Railway. The project includes the construction of a bridge across the Ob and a railway part of the crossing over the Nadym River. The creation of the SSH is divided into several sections and includes, in addition to the new construction of a highway and a bridge, the modernization of existing sections of railways.
