Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The press service of the Kremlin reports that during the conversation, the implementation of the tripartite agreements between Moscow, Baku and Yerevan was considered.

“President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Ilham Aliyev,” the report says. The President of the Russian Federation and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan considered steps to implement the entire set of trilateral agreements between the leaders “with an emphasis on practical issues of unblocking transport and economic ties.”

It is worth noting that Putin and Aliyev spoke for the second time in a week.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani leader said that the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan scheduled for December 7 in Brussels will not take place, as Yerevan insists on the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron at the talks.
