The Kremlin noted that Putin got acquainted with the work of the headquarters, heard a report on the progress of the special operation and held a meeting and separate meetings with the commanders. The meeting was attended, among other things, by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Commander of the Joint Group of Forces in the area of ​​the NMD General of the Army Sergei Surovikin and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and First Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Gerasimov.
