Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended until December 31, 2025, the validity of the decree on special economic measures in response to sanctions. Document published on the official portal of legal information.
The decree was signed by the President on March 8, 2022. Its validity expired on December 31, 2023.
The document prohibits federal authorities from making transactions with legal entities and individuals in respect of which special economic measures are applied. In addition, it is forbidden to fulfill obligations under completed transactions to persons, even if they are not fulfilled or not fulfilled in full.
The decree also allows for a ban on the export of products and raw materials, the list of which will be established by the government. In addition, according to this decree, the government determines the lists of foreign countries where the import of certain types of products and raw materials will be prohibited.
