Putin discussed with members of the Security Council the development of relations with neighbors and allies

Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with permanent members of the Security Council. About it reports Kremlin press service.
“We have several issues on the agenda today. They concern the development of relations with our closest neighbors and allies. We will also talk about ensuring Russia’s interests in relations with foreign countries,” Putin said.
The meeting was attended by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speakers of the Federation Council and State Duma Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov and others.
Putin regularly holds meetings with the Security Council. Last time it took place 25-th of August. Then the president proposed discussing support for compatriots abroad and other issues “on the agenda.”
