Putin declared national mourning on March 24

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his televised address, announced on Sunday, March 24, nationwide mourning in the country for those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
The head of state called what happened in Crocus a bloody and barbaric terrorist attack.
He noted that additional anti-terrorist measures had been introduced in Moscow and other regions, and promised that assistance would be provided to everyone.
The head of state also emphasized that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack had been found and detained and that they would face retribution and oblivion.
“No one and nothing can shake our unity, the strength of the people of Russia,” Putin said, adding that Russia has gone through the most difficult trials and will continue to do so now.
Putin added that the investigation will do everything to establish all the details of the terrorist attack, and called the main thing to prevent those behind the massacre from committing new crimes.
The President also expressed hope for interaction with all states that are ready to actually join forces in the fight against international terrorism.
