Putin named the countries of which Ukraine has the most mercenaries
Russian President Vladimir Putin called “a cheap provocation” the statement of US Senator Chuck Schumer about the need to allocate funding for Ukraine, “otherwise American citizens will have to fight there.” The head of state made this statement in an interview with American journalist, former Fox News TV presenter Tucker Carlson, when he quoted Schumer.
“This is a provocation, and a cheap provocation at that. I don’t understand why American soldiers have to fight in Ukraine. There are mercenaries from the United States there. Most of the mercenaries are from Poland. In second place is from the United States, in third place is from Georgia,” Putin said.
He added that “if someone has a desire to send regular troops to Ukraine, this will put humanity on the brink of a global conflict.”
“Does the USA need this? Why do this thousands of kilometers from national territory. Don’t have anything to do? You have a lot of problems. Problems with migration, with the national debt – more than three trillion dollars. Isn’t it better to come to an agreement with Russia?” – said the President of the Russian Federation.
The head of state concluded that “Russia will fight for its interests to the end.”
Also during the interview, Vladimir Putin said that goals of a special military operation to protect Donbass have not yet been achieved due to active neo-Nazi movements in Ukraine.
