Russian President Putin made changes to the state program for the resettlement of compatriots
The state program for the resettlement of compatriots in force in the Russian Federation has been changed by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The corresponding document is published on the portal of legal information.
According to the amendments, applications for participation in the state program from compatriots living outside of Russia will be accepted only if they speak Russian.
Compatriots will be required to know the state language of the Russian Federation at a level sufficient to communicate orally and in writing in the conditions of the language environment of the Russian Federation. In addition, this change will affect a number of categories of foreign citizens.
