Putin called every Russian soldier on the front line a hero

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that every Russian fighter on the front line in the special operation zone is a personal hero for him and all Russians. He stated this during a speech at the ceremony of awarding the Golden Star medals to the Heroes of Russia.
“I also want to appeal to those who are on the front lines – for me, for all our fellow citizens, each of you is a hero,” he said (quote according to TASS).
Putin added that today the highest state awards will be presented to soldiers who have shown exceptional valor and courage during a special military operation.
As the Kremlin press service notes, more than 200 military and civilians who have shown special courage and heroism, including Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation and holders of the Order of St. George, are invited to the solemn event.
November 25, Putin during a meeting with mothers of servicemen named of all participants in the military operation in Ukraine as heroes and added that he personally spoke on the phone with the participants of the NWO and learned information from them. The head of state also noted then that he personally shares the pain of mothers who lost their sons in hostilities.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
