Putin awarded diplomas to the restorers of the Crimean bridge

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded nine people with certificates of honor for their participation in the restoration of the Crimean bridge. Disposition head of state published on the portal of legal information.

On October 8, 2022, a truck was blown up on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula. Also, seven fuel tanks of a train heading towards the Crimean peninsula caught fire. As a result, the motor spans of the bridge partially collapsed, killing four people. The government instructed to restore the facility no later than July 1, 2023.
Putin blamed Ukraine’s special services for the attack on the Crimean bridge. On October 12, the FSB of Russia reported that the organizer of the attack was the head of the military intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov.
At the end of January, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin announced the completion of the sliding of the fourth – the last – span on the left automobile part of the bridge, and at the end of February, car traffic on all lanes on the Crimean bridge was opened, the work was completed 39 days ahead of schedule. In mid-March, Khusnullin said that they planned to launch the movement of Gazelles across the bridge with a full inspection and empty trucks.
