Russian President Vladimir Putin assigned the name “Guards” to the 332nd separate helicopter regiment. A decree signed by the head of state published on the legal information portal.

August 25 Putin appropriated the honorary name “Guards” to the 70th motorized rifle regiment, the 8th anti-aircraft missile Shavlin Order of Kutuzov brigade, the 238th artillery brigade, the 18th army aviation brigade, as well as the 107th Mozyr missile Order of Lenin Red Banner brigade. The regiment and four brigades received this name “for mass heroism and courage, fortitude and courage.”
August 18, President of the Russian Federation signed a decree on assigning the name “Guards” to the 14th Fighter Aviation Regiment also “for mass heroism and courage, steadfastness and courage shown by the personnel of the regiment in combat.”
