Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Tula, where he will hold a meeting to meet the needs of the units of the country’s Armed Forces that are involved in a special military operation, write “RIA News”.
That the head of state will hold this meeting in Tula, earlier today informed press secretary Dmitry Peskov. He also said that Putin will get acquainted with the products of the military-industrial complex (OPK). According to him, the Russian President will visit the Design Bureau of Instrument Engineering named after Academician Shipunov. Putin will be accompanied by the governor of the Tula region, Alexei Dyumin.
During a speech at the collegium of the Ministry of Defense on December 21, Putin notedthat the military potential of the Russian Armed Forces is constantly increasing and this process will continue.
In November Putin instructed the government, together with the Ministry of Defense, to bring the security standards of the country’s Armed Forces in line with their real needs arising in the course of a special operation in Ukraine. In addition, in order to improve the quality of equipment for the Russian troops, the government was instructed to establish an operational exchange of information between units directly involved in the NMD and manufacturers of weapons and equipment.
