Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Grigory Gurov Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Social and State Movement of Children and Youth. The relevant decree published on the official portal of legal information.
In 2017-2020 Gurov worked at the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, in 2020 he was appointed deputy head of the agency. In August 2021, he became Deputy Minister of Science and Education.
Earlier today, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Putin does not plan to personally attend the First Congress of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth, which will be held December 17-21. However, the head of state will send a video message to the participants of the congress.
On July 20, Putin agreed to head the supervisory board of the all-Russian movement of children and youth.
