Putin announced the restoration of more than 10 thousand objects in new regions of Russia

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin stated April 3 that restoration work has been completed at more than 10 thousand facilities in new regions of the country.

“During 2022–2023, work was completed on more than 10 thousand objects from federal customers alone. In addition, during the same period, the regions-chiefs restored more than 7 thousand objects. Today we are taking another step in this significant, complex, but work necessary for people, opening healthcare institutions, education, housing infrastructure, sports facilities in Donetsk, Mariupol and Lugansk,” Putin said at the opening of social and residential facilities in the historical regions of Russia via video conference.

According to him, by 2030 it is planned to raise the standard of living and socio-economic development of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to the all-Russian level.

“A comprehensive program until 2030 was launched, and a state program for the restoration of new federal subjects for 2024–2026 was approved. They cover various areas and areas,” Putin recalled.

The President noted that the country continues consistent work on the restoration and development of Donbass and Novorossia.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin told Putin that more than 5 thousand apartment buildings have been restored in new regions.

“During this time, in less than 700 days, we have restored more than 5 thousand apartment buildings,” he emphasized, adding that a total of 18 thousand objects have already been restored, the construction or repair of which is being completed daily at 25-30 objects.
