Putin announced the participation of 50 thousand mobilized in hostilities

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with the governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, said that now there are 80,000 mobilized people in the special operation zone in Ukraine, 50,000 of which are participating in hostilities.

“We now have 50 thousand in combat units. The rest do not yet take part in hostilities. But there are up to 80 thousand in the zone (conducting a special operation – ”b”). The rest are all at the training grounds,” Vladimir Putin said (quote from Interfax). According to him, it is necessary to show attention to everyone, “wherever they are.”

During the meeting, Mr. Putin also informed about the intention to personally discuss with citizens the issues of support for the mobilized. He instructed the governor to collect “an array of materials and questions” about supporting those mobilized in the Tver region.

The President announced a partial mobilization on 21 September. On October 31, its completion was announced. As part of the mobilization, they planned to call on 300 thousand reservists. November 4 Vladimir Putin informedthat the plan was overfulfilled at the expense of volunteers – 318 thousand people were mobilized. November 1 Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu declaredthat there are 87 thousand mobilized in the combat zone.
