Putin announced the destruction of the Armed Forces of his troops

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 14 of their own servicemen who tried to surrender. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this during a meeting with the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

“Unfortunately, we are dealing with a regime that is behaving extremely cruelly not only towards our citizens, but also towards its own. Yesterday they reported at one of the contact points: 14 servicemen of the Ukrainian army surrendered. Fourteen! It was already late, and our people stayed there with them, a few people. They didn’t even guard them, so that later in the morning they could be taken out of the combat zone. The enemy put three hundred shells in one place. He destroyed all his military personnel, ”he said.

According to Putin, Russian servicemen also suffered as a result of the incident. The head of state paid special attention to the cruelty and cynicism of the Ukrainian military command. In this regard, he noted the need to “remove them to a distance from which they cannot harm us.”

Putin also notedthat the Ministry of Defense and the military are faced with the task of minimizing the shelling of the border regions and making sure that they do not exist at all. “If [обстрелы] decreased already, then everything is going to this, ”he said.
