Russia is open to military-technical cooperation with other countries, holding the Army-2023 forum will strengthen partnership for the benefit of stability in a multipolar world. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address on the occasion of the opening of the forum.
“Russia is open to deepening equal technological partnership and military-technical cooperation with other countries, with everyone who defends their national interests, their independent path of development and considers it fundamentally important to build together an equal indivisible security system that would reliably protect each state,” says in an appeal published on the Kremlin website.
At the forum, more than 1,500 Russian enterprises presented over 28,500 military and dual-use models, the head of state specified, adding that the program of 250 forum events is dedicated to “the issues of diversifying the military-industrial complex and developing artificial intelligence technologies.” According to him, Russia has something to offer, as the volume of the market for products with artificial intelligence is growing annually in the country.
Putin stressed that special attention at the forum will be paid to the subject of unmanned aerial vehicles. “This area is actively developing today both in the military and in the civilian sector. In fact, we are talking about creating a new independent science-intensive and high-tech industry,” he said.
According to the president, 82 foreign military-industrial enterprises will present their products at the forum, while last year there were only 32 of them. Russia offers to cooperate in personnel training, training of the military, as well as in conducting command and staff exercises. “And we expect that, as before, important agreements and export contracts will be signed on the sidelines of the forum,” the president said.
